Opportunities for Contributing to Global Education in Nebraska
Malaika continues to bring global education resources and opportunities to Nebraska schools, universities and communities including recognition for Nebraska heritage and history. Your gift will enhance global education for Nebraska students and faculty. A contribution of $50 provides global education books, including a subscription to “National Geographic Magazine”, for your favorite school library or school. Please provide name and address of school.
A contribution of $100 will link a Nebraska School with a Global Traveler for one semester. You can specify your favorite school for this program organized by “Reach the World”. Please provide name and address of school.
A contribution of $250 for travel and accommodation for students from Western Nebraska to attend the Nebraska World Food Prize Youth Institute. Partnership program with the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, University of Nebraska, casnr.unl.edu
A contribution of $1,000 to award a high school to complete research and document a family or community heritage and history. This is a collaborative Malaika program, “Listen to the Land”, managed by the Museum of Nebraska Art, MONA, Kearney, mona.unk.edu
